We have a good family friend who owns a "u-pick" farm and hosts a Fall Festival each year on his property complete with live music, carnival games and booths, food, veggies for sale, tractor rides, a pumpkin patch, hay rides, and a petting zoo.
We were daring and took the girls (including Kenadie's cousin and BFF, Kassi) to the Festival last Saturday even though we had some serious hurricane winds and the river beds are recovering from horrible flooding.
It was a blast! But thanks to the brutal, cold wind, I only emerged my hands from their pockets long enough to take a few pictures.
Beautiful day complete with a rainbow:
The girls had the most fun bouncing on balls, the one completely non-farm related activity. (check out the wind ripping the fencing up!)
Kenadie and Kassi love each other so much. They held hands nearly the entire time.
The girls were so excited to get their faces painted!
I hear that Pyrah's Farm also hosts a Festival of Trees and Christmas Festival in December. Can't wait!
