One thing I love about Minneapolis is the Como Zoo.
It's not too big of a zoo,
it has gorgeous gardens,
and, oh yeah, it's FREE!
Which is perfect for our family because
a) what student family doesn't like free!?
and
b) I would rather not spend $40 to take Kenners to the zoo when her interest in it only lasts about 20 minutes.
She likes the monkeys and the penguins.
After that, she could care less about the animals and just wants to jump in every fountain she sees and splash in every puddle. (I cannot wait until it warms up and we can take her swimming!)
She also prefers looking at and sniffing the flowers to checking out the animals. Do I sense a little bit of Oberg in this child!?
Overall, such a perfect place for little kids who have short attention spans and don't want to walk all day long.
Plus, it guarantees an awesome afternoon nap afterward!

Love Como Zoo! Kenners is getting so big I can't even believe it! You look so cute with your little baby bump. We were just talking today about how much we miss all the parks and fun stuff there is to do in Minnesota. Would have loved to be there with you! Miss you guys and I am so sorry to hear about your car. Hope that gets figured out and quick!
