Minnesota has not been the ideal place to find a job as a Nurse.
It took me well over a year of living here to find anything.
Many new graduate nurses are leaving the state for lack of jobs.
Therefore: I am incredibly grateful for my job right now.
The Lord is really taking care of us.
I also have not yet fulfilled my dream of being a Labor and Delivery nurse.
Right now in Portland, OR
there are at least a 1/2 dozen openings for L&D nurses.
They are willing to take nurses without previous working experience in L&D (me)
and the pay is kind of amazing.
But I live in Minnesota.
The end.
The end.

The solution seems simple enough...just convince everyone in Minnesota to have more kids. It's supply and demand, right? :)
That being said, I totally understand the frustration, and I love you! I'm glad you're where you are...the old people stories are priceless.
