We live in Chaska, a small town outside of Minneapolis surrounded by farmland and forests. Inbetween all the neighborhoods and subdivisions are some amazing trails to go biking or running on (or in my case, walking, thanks to the physical constrictions of an enlarging mid-section). A lot of these trails wind through the woods and over creeks and around ponds. It really reminds me of being home in Alaska (minus the mountains), so I LOVE it.
We've had amazing weather lately and I've been taking advantage of it by going on long walks through the trails in the woods. Yesterday afternoon, Garrett got home early from school and joined me on a walk, and it was beautiful! So I just thought I'd share some pictures of our walk and give everyone a taste of what it's like here in Chaska, MN:
So if you love to run or bike, enjoy nature, want to "get away from it all", or like swimming and boating in beautiful lakes, you really should come visit us! It is beautiful.

Your right I guess there are some good things about MN. I am always suprised how much $ the cities spend on trails when they are covered in snow for half the year. I am sure glad they do!
I'm there! In a month, yeah! I'm so glad you live in a beautiful place, just one great reason to visit. But the most important reason is to be around Holly and Garrett!!
Oh, it sounds amazing! The one thing Logan is missing is a paved trail network to bike/hike on that is more than one mile long. I'm definitely jealous! Sounds so fun!
