Sugar and spice and everything nice.......

Garrett and I were able to go to the hospital today and FINALLY see our little baby on the ultrasound. It was so neat to see and it finally made this pregnancy seem actually real. And holy cow: this is an active little baby! Though I am just barely starting to feel a little movement every now and then, this baby would not hold still during the ultrasound and was kicking and punching everywhere!

After three good peeks between the legs, our little baby made it pretty clear to us that she is a girl! We are so excited! Especially Garrett; he was really hoping for a girl. So my little niece Brooke will have someone her own age to play Barbies with and I will get to collect lots of pink, lacy things and brace myself for what will apparently be a very active and sassy little thing!

I would post some "belly pics", but I'm told that I'm still not looking pregnant, so you all will just have to wait a little longer.....
