Last week Garrett and I went on a much-needed afternoon date.
We went on one of my favorite hikes to Reed Lakes.
The hike includes views of a beautiful river, two aquamarine lakes, a waterfall, and gorgeous mountains.
Garrett said he half-expected Frodo Baggins and Company to come bounding through the mountains because the surroundings look so much like a scene from one of the Lord of the Rings movies. It is so beautiful.
Unfortunately, it POURED rain on our way back down the 10 mile hike, so we couldn't take many pictures and I ended up falling down most of the slippery, muddy mountain.
But here are some pictures we got of the beeeeeautiful hike:
