There is a good reason for both my absence in the blogging world and for these smiley faces:
we are soaking in the sun in beautiful San Diego!
Oh my, I love it here, and Garrett's parents sure do a good job of making us never want to leave....
Fresh oranges and lemons galore:
A trip to In-N-Out:
So much space for Kenners to run around and play--she is in heaven!
Green mountains and sunshine. (And yes, I burnt my ghostly complexion to a red-lobster-crisp within 45 minutes of sitting on the back porch with a good book. Aloe vera all around!)
Plenty of time in Grandma and Papa's luxury hot tub!
I got a makeover!--Claire highlighted my hair, gave me some side bangs and took me for the third pedicure I've ever had in my life. I feel spoiled rotten! Even Kenners got a little haircut from Grandma (after some coaxing with a lollipop):
And plenty of time with my honey :)
I don't know if I can ever leave.
Really.

San Diego and being with Claire and Sid sound like heaven. Garretts parents are really awesome and you are soooo lucky to have them as in-laws. How wonderful that your vacation place is coupled with such good times with family! Tell them hello and I love them!
