Angels and Demons......

Tonight we had our church Halloween party as well as Garrett's school party. We didn't want to be party poopers, so we decided to put some good effort into our costumes this year. We found the perfect Halloween costume for Kenadie:

She really is such a devilish little angel, so the costume was perfect for her. Then Garrett and I decided to try and make our costumes go with hers:

So there you have it: the Devil, the Angel, and our half-and-half child.

Luckily we took a bunch of snapshots early in the evening, because it didn't take long until the devil in Kenadie came out and she screamed most of the evening (I don't think she was a big fan of wearing her costume). We still had a blast at the church party eating yummy food, stuffing our faces with pie, and judging the pumpkin carving contest. After the church party, we headed over to Garrett's school party where Kenadie was the most popular person there among all of Garrett's classmates. All the girls loved her, and I can't really blame them; she is pretty precious!
All-in-all, it was a fun evening and we had a lot of fun dressing up this year for Halloween. So now we'll have to come up with something clever for next year......
Happy Halloween, everyone!

That's too cute (not that I'm surprised, of course!) Have a great holiday! I still think you should consider coming to sunny California for Christmas, by the way. Just think about it!! Much love to you all!

Very clever, and soooo cute! Jaden got to see Kenadie for a few minutes while someone else was holding her. It turned out to be a fun party, wish we could have seen you more. Im glad you had a fun night.
